Coaching others through their health, nutrition, and fitness journey is very rewarding!

My Story and Why I Do What I Do:

I started Beachbody because I wanted to stay consistent with my exercise routine during the summer months when my schedule was drastically different and my normal gym routine was hard to follow.  A friend had fallen in love with these programs so I gave it a try.  I was more consistent that summer with my exercise than I ever had been!

I had no intention of joining the Success groups and I certainly didn’t plan to change my eating habits…but the program came with these brightly colored portion control containers. I like bright things, so I thought, “I’ll just play with them…see if my proportions have been right.”. Although I wasn’t eating horribly, my balance was completely off.  I ate way too many carbs and not nearly enough fruits and veggies.  This intrigued me so I went ALL IN.

Weight loss was not a goal of mine, but I lost 3 pounds that summer.  I fell in love with the programs, and the system, and thought maybe I should check out the Success Group too.

I was a quiet bystander in the group, just watching others post and feeding off their energy but quickly got deeply involved.  I posted my own accountability and commented on others’ posts, sharing encouragement and empathizing with struggles.  My coach kept telling me: “you’d love coaching, join me” but I didn’t want to coach, I just wanted to work on myself.

Little did I know that I was already coaching.  Eventually , I asked if I could lead a post in the Success Group (typically a coach role). I was nervous about what I could say that would encourage and inspire other people in the group. I can’t even remember what I posted but the response was positive and I caught the bug. It felt so good to be helping other people find success!!  These people, who I had never met in person (other than my coach) were so friendly, supportive, positive, and encouraging.

teach what you learn

In the summer of 2018, I had the opportunity to meet two other coaches for the first time, sharing a house during the National Conference, Summit, and it was like hanging out with old friends!

I am holding myself accountable, helping other people be successful, and am surrounded by positivity!  It has been such a positive addition to my life, I still hit the gym or head to the pool when I want to but these workouts are now my staple.

Checking in and soaking up the positive energy of others is a daily occurrance! I love sharing the experience with all of you because it also holds me accountable and allows me to spread the joy.

I love that coaching helps me live my mission!
